About Me

I'm a full-stack web-developer based in London.

I studied computing young, but discovered my love for programming whilst designing a puzzle game using C# in my own time.

This, along with unwavering support from my partner, inspired me to study full-stack development with IT Career Switch.

I love being able to use both my creative and logical sides in my work.

I build and maintain my own computers and continue to study computer science independently. Right now I'm having fun with assembly language in emulators and writing very basic neural networks in Python following the Neural Networks from Scratch book.

I also have a degree in film and used to work as a freelance cinematographer. I filmed and sold the intellectual rights to three online advertisements to Phillips, Canadian Club Whisky, and Comfort.

Outside of technology, I enjoy and spend a lot of time on fitness and food.

Experience

I have a BTEC National Diploma in ICT, giving me a great understanding of what's happening at a low level.

I have three years of experience with object-oriented programming (C# in Unity).

I have two years of web-development experience from an IT Career Switch course, Codecademy, and from working on other full-stack projects.

I jump easily between frontend and backend, and between different languages, libraries, frameworks, and stacks due to a great grasp of fundamentals.
